Skylab Program Patch - 20th Anniv

Beautifull embroidered 4 in patch created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Skylab Project, the First U. S. Space Station.  Launched by NASA aboard an unmanned Saturn V rocket on 14 May 1973. It went on to host 3 crews (3 men each)   Skylab orbited the earth for 6 years before dropping back into the atmosphere.

Skylab paved the way to the International Space Station.
