By October Alaska's grizzly bears have built up a thick layer of fat and a dense coat of hair. After crossing a stream this grizzly's fur became encrusted with ice, yet he acted impervious to the cold. Perfectly adapted to his environment this coastal brown bear seemed to enjoy life in the freezer.
