A mentored STEM lab where K-12 students use open source hardware and software technologies, learn to code, build smart devices and develop applications. The labs are also known as Mathobotix Labs, and OpenTechLabs.  The kid-friendly labs provide a safe alternative learning environment for academic enrichment through the buildologie, codologie, and gamologie tracks of programs.

STEM Club: Are you a K - 12 student? Do you want to explore hands-on STEM projects and apps and have fun? Do you want to build a strong academic foundation for your future? Join our STEM Club! Annual Memberships are available for subscription! This exclusive membership opens doors to the world of hands-on learning in a state-of-the-art STEM Lab environment. As a member-student your child can attend any of our published classes and labs or request a custom STEM project assignment that is appropriate for his/her grade and skill level. How to Enroll: Membership Enrollment Form.

Membership and Fee Options:
Annual Membership Fee: $1850.00 || Once a week for 100 minutes, year-round, up to 50 lab classes. Entire fee must be paid upfront along with the enrollment form to activate membership.

Optional Cost of Materials: Some projects may require certain project-specific materials and you are responsible to purchase them with assistance form our STEM Mentors. Projects may include soldering, and handling sensitive electronics, including chipsets and instruments. Parent/Guardian must sign Liability Waiver to join the program.We reserve the right to cancel the membership if students don't adhere to lab safety rules.

Membership Eligibility:

Available for K - 12 grade students only.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Individual K-12 Student Annual (1 year contract with early termination fee (equal to your balance due.)
No cancellation of membership for any reason! No Discounts! No refunds, No-prorating for missed classes. Membership is not transferable.

Locations:
Mathobotix Lab in Irvine and Los Alamitos Labs only. Not available at other locations!

STEM Lab Hours:
Academic School Year (Sept to Mid-June):

Weekdays (Mon - Fri):
Period I: 3.00 PM to 4.40 PM
Period II: 4.40 PM to 6.20 PM
Period II: 6.20 PM to 8.00 PM

Summer (Mid-June to Aug): Mon - Fri: 4.30pm to 6.20pm

Fine Print: Member-students can attend weekdays only. *Labs not available during Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. Currently enrolled after-school students must complete the session in progress to be eligible for membership application. Students with a STEM Club Membership can attend 50 classes once a week for a year. No make-up classes. No roll-over. Saturday classes are not available to STEM Club members. Buildologie, Codologie, and Gamologie classes are available, but not at the same time. Students may switch from Buildologie to Codologie to Gamologie once every 10-week period.

STEM Club Registration: 

STEP 1: Download & Complete the Student Registration Form & Liability Waiver and Talent Release Form (PDF).

STEP 2: eMail admin@mathobotix.com or call 949-857-1419 to confirm class schedule.

STEP 3: Visit the lab and Pay Class Fee, turn in the completed forms, at least 1 week before class start date.

STEP 4: Begin attending Class.
