Every aspect of this book is done with love, and the publishing with such attention to detail. The words of Elder Ephraim are so comforting and instructive in essential elements of Orthodox life such as prayer, repentance, confession, humility, and pain and sorrow. It feels like Elder Ephraim is sitting with us.
The publishing of this book by The Holy Monastery of Saint Nektarios in Roscoe, New York is breathtakingly beautiful. Every detail is so carefully and lovingly executed. Examples are the gold lettering and images on the front cover, the icons at the end of each homily, the detailed footnotes, the image in gold on the back cover, the feel of each page, and the photographs of Elder Ephraim and of Saint Nektarios Monastery. It is a very special book that is beautiful in its message and presentation. I give this book the highest rating possible and recommend it to any Orthodox Christian on a spiritual path.
