Our Team
1. Paul Owner/Inventor Sammamish, WA
Paul, retired engineer, is the inventor of the handle. He can’t sit still and drives the company. He loves animals and has high hopes that more dog owners will walk their two, three or four dogs more often. Not so much for the sales but for much happier and healthier dogs and owners.
2. Margaritha Sales & Marketing Director Sammamish, WA
Margaritha is a sales and marketing expert with over 25 years of experience. She has been around dogs most of her life and loved/loves them all dearly. Margaritha handles all sales and marketing. Margaritha and Paul have been married for 42 years.
3. Nina Website & Social Media Seattle, WA
Nina graduated with two science degrees from Washington State University in 2010 and is the owner of Mason, one of the 4 small dogs shown in the pictures and videos. Nina is Paul and Margaritha’s daughter and supports the website and social media.
4. Alex Engineering & Manufacturing Consultant Sammamish, WA
Alex is an expert in composites, thermoplastics and manufacturing. Alex obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington in 2014. Alex is providing very valuable consulting for materials, product design, manufacturing and patent issues.
5. Judy Dog walker, Product Tester Redmond, WA
Judy is an experienced dog walker with over 12 years of experience and has tested several prototype handles. Judy may provide more testing support for future products as needed.
6. Rob Fabricator Everett, WA
Rob is the owner of Lund’s Cabinet Shop, LLC. He uses this large CNC (computer numerically controlled) equipment for his cabinet work. He machines identical UTurn handle shapes for us from large plastic sheets. In this picture his CNC machine just started to cut the peripheries of the first grey handles. Rob goes out of his way to find solutions and provides high quality products. He has a remarkable business and is a great guy!

From left to right: Little Bear-Beertje, the feisty and stocky male, always pulling; Lizzie, the bossy but affectionate leader; Penny, the smallest cairn terrier, a real outdoorsy type, and then on the right Mason, Nina’s dog, a Maltese/Yorkie (Malkie), the smallest, smart as a whip and always perky.
